De Quervain’s
Like trigger finger, the tendon in the wrist is inflamed on thumb side. It causes pain on moving the wrist. Splinting and steroid may help but surgery is required when other options do not work - see trigger finger information sheet.
Operation for De Quervain’s
The operation is the same as for trigger finger.
